            This is probably the most difficult time of the year for us Cape Codders and some Captonians to dine out without being critical of the long waits, even with reservations, but there are some restaurants worth the wait... and here are some of our picks for the high season: Please note many of these Restaurants serve dinner only.   • Ebb Tide, Dennisport, (now celebrating 43 years in business) Totally family owned and operated; exceptional decor, walk to the beach.

    Il Maestro Ristorante (17 years of Mama's recipes enjoyed by thousands of Cape Codders)

    The Country Inn, Harwich Port, (Country dining at its best, design cuisine as the chef/owner calls it. An Inn with a 26 year history of outstanding hospitality and dining)

    Serena's Ristorante, Wellfleet, (Good choice for Italian, 20 years severing thousands of local and seasonal visitors)

    The Nimrod Inn, Falmouth,15 years, (the Murray family have revitalized this traditional restaurant with a flair of contemporary dishes in a historical New England setting; circa 1700s)

    Colonial House Inn, 22 years , Yarmouth Port, (An old Sea Captains' home with 21 lodging rooms, excellent traditional New England menu. A beautiful historic walk along the roads to the beach)

  • Front Street, Provincetown, (one the Cape's most romantic restaurants with a very special menu of contemporary innovative cuisine.)

    The Yardarm, 25 years, Orleans, (A great meeting place, good food, locals praise it.

    Belfry Inne & Bistro, 15 years, Sandwich, (A classic but casual dining experience; excellent)   The Abbey/ Belfry Meetinghouse are excellent choices for lodging and dining. The Bistro in the Abbey is one of kind, dazzling setting.

    Indian Pavilion Restaurant 15 years, (The Cape's only authentic Indian restaurant )

    Finely J.P.'s, 20 years, Wellfleet, (Chef/Owned with a creative menu)

    Golden Boy, West Yarmouth, (Best broiled or fried seafood, Clam Boil dinners in a casual atmosphere; celebrating 30 years)

     

    The Paddock, Hyannis, (There is reason to make reservations at this restaurant, extremely popular and excellent) Celebrating over 45 years.

  • The Riverway Lobster House, South Yarmouth, (Home of the three-pound lobster, excellent seafood and traditional New England fare)  Totally renovated, upscale menu with LOBSTER entrees galore for over 60 years.

    Lola's, Martha's Vineyard, (New Orleans on the island, voted one of the best restaurants off the main land)  16 years.

    Napi's, Provincetown, (Great dining place and excellent eclectic menu choices) 37 years.

    Captain Parkers, West Yarmouth, (One of the locals choice year round, a perfect view of Parkers River with the food to match) 24 years. Voted the "BEST" Clam Chowder for the past 5 years. Boston and Cape Cod Chowder Feasts.

  • Siena's Restaurant, Mashpee Commons. Undoubtedly one of the finest dining experiences on Cape Cod. The menu will tempt you to enjoy local seafood, Italian seafood specialties. Open for lunch and dinner.

  • Alberto's Ristorante, Hyannis, now celebrating 25 years as one of the Cape's most romantic restaurant. This restaurant offers an exclusive menu that has never been duplicated on Cape Cod, Open year round for lunch and dinner. Recommended by the Boston Globe, New York Times for its "Exquisite Northern Italian Cuisine"

  • Ay! Caramba Cafe, Harwich Center, offers authentic Mexican cuisine. Enjoy Antojitos/Burritos/Tacos/Tostadas/Mexican Beers/Sangria. Locals from all parts of the Cape make this a must for truly Mexican cuisine.
  • Bobby Byrne's Restaurant & Pub, Sandwich, Hyannis, Mashpee. The Cape's landmark restaurants exceptional cuisine and a local favorite for over 30 years. Very creative menu for both lunch and dinner.

  • Bonatt's Bakery, Harwichport. For over 60 years Bonnat's has been serving Cape Codders and seasonal visitorsalkike . Home of the famous "Melt-A-Way" pastry. You will take some home, guaranteed! Best breakfast, great for lunch.
